Once Upon a PK XD: Fairy Tales, Magic Trees & Castle Quests!

I've been a gossiper since I can remember, but I have a suspicion about where it all started. Before going to bed, my mother would always take out books and tell me stories about princes and princesses, enchanted kingdoms and endless adventures.

The problem was that she always tried to make the story last longer, she didn't like finishing the book in one night. So of course I'd pretend to be asleep, and as soon as she left I'd pick up the book to find out all the gossip.

That's how I fell in love with fairy tales and gained a unique taste for listening to stories. The good thing is that a good story is a shared story... and I have an amazing one for you today... fairy tales have arrived on PK XD!

Once upon a time...

In the heart of PK XD stood a magical tree like no other... Majestic and imposing, it was an ancient tree that had witnessed ages and mysteries, guarding secrets as old as time itself, but this time its mission was different. The tree was there for a purpose: to help someone who can't show their true form. But for that, it needed strength.

The tree's presence brought life to the land, causing magical plants to sprout up all over the island, plants charged with brilliant, powerful energy. To anyone brave enough to come close and listen to the mysteries its leaves told as they swayed in the wind, its voice echoed: "I need your help. Take your sword and collect the magic plants scattered throughout the kingdom. Bring me five a day, for five days, and I'll have the strength to fulfill my mission."

The challenge was on. The journey had begun. Now the question remained: who will have the courage to help the tree reveal what is hidden?

Until...

Under the golden light of dusk, two figures appeared. They were no mere travelers, but a prince and a princess, noble of heart and fearless of spirit. Their cloaks fluttered in the magical forest breeze as they wielded their gleaming swords.

The two set off collecting each fragment with devotion, knowing that something great was to come. Each plant collected was a step closer to the truth. But what would happen when the tree finally had the strength to fulfill its mission?

But when they least expected it...

they crossed the path of a mysterious rabbit in a burrow hidden in the trunk of a tree. Something didn't seem normal there. Behind the small creature, a light shone brightly, could it be a portal?

Their hearts raced, they hesitated for a moment and, driven by courage (or perhaps a touch of madness), they took a step forward and stepped through the light, and then, when they opened their eyes, they found themselves in front of something indescribable?

A new land. A magical land.

The sky was filled with enchanted clouds, waterfalls fell gracefully, rainbows arched, and fantastic creatures could be seen. Everything there seemed alive and made of pure magic.

However, nothing drew more attention than what was rising on the horizon. At the top of the highest mountain, imposing and enigmatic, was a tower... a castle.

“We need to go up!”

They exclaimed. The path to the top of the castle would not be easy. What, at first glance, looked like peaceful creatures soon revealed their true nature: ferocious and implacable monsters, ready to stop anyone who dared to advance.

The prince and princess looked at each other. There was no choice. They grabbed their swords and went into battle.

The creatures were blue, gooey and relentless, appearing from all sides as if the earth itself were spitting them out to challenge the travelers. The fight seemed endless and each blow struck was followed by more enemies emerging from the shadows. Exhaustion began to weigh on his shoulders and hope seemed to be fading.

It was then, in a moment of sheer desperation, that they begged for help. A prayer without much conviction, a plea thrown to the wind.

And the wind responded.

Suddenly, a fairy appeared before them, shining like a ray of light in the darkness. Her gaze was serene but full of wisdom. In a soft voice, she revealed a long-forgotten secret:

— Only the noblest and purest of heart can remove the legendary Stone Sword. With it in hand, you will have the power you need to cross this path and reach your true destiny.

Hope rekindled in their hearts. Now, a new journey awaited them: to find the Stone Sword and prove that they were worthy to wield it.

We need to be quick

Whatever was at the top of the castle remained a mystery, and time seemed to be running against them. Every second lost could mean the failure of their mission.

The prince and princess were preparing to leave when, suddenly, the fairy smiled, and with a graceful gesture, she bent down, picked up a simple flower from the ground and, with a touch of her magic, transformed it before their eyes.

Petals became benches and in the blink of an eye, there was a vehicle as beautiful as it was agile, ready to take them through the enchanted kingdom.

— Get on! — said the fairy. — Your destiny awaits you, and glory will only be won by those who dare to seek it.

Without hesitation, the noble heroes mounted their new transport and set off, crossing golden fields and luminous forests, determined to find the sword that would give them the power to face whatever awaited them at the top of the castle. Was there something inside that would help them with the tree's mission? Could they then see the true form of the mysterious being?

Fate has not yet been sealed, and the next chapter of this story is about to begin...
